How Meme became a form of Protest

In Kolkata during the Protest against NRC and CAA, some posters and memes are within a transmitted crystal-clear message to politicians to refrain from divisive politics and mocking the slogan of Ache din in 2014 elections.

On January 11, PM arrived at Kolkata. Protestors blocked all roads so that PM could not reach Raj Bhavan, with memes which means "The road is shut. Nation rebuilding is underway". 

Another anti-CAA poster read "Azadi meri dulhan hai"( azadi is my bride). It brought back memories of Shahid Bhagat Singh
